Hongyuan Jia is an Associate Professor and Master’s supervisor at the School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, Chongqing University of Science and Technology.
His work connects building performance simulation, climate-change-informed future weather data, low-carbon building technologies, and open research software for EnergyPlus workflows.
He received his PhD in Heating, Gas Supply, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering from Chongqing University, was a visiting doctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and previously worked as a senior research engineer and postdoctoral researcher at the Berkeley Education Alliance for Research in Singapore.
